We are excited to welcome the Chamber Singers of the Monadnock Chorus back to Plowshare Farm for a community concert on May 25.
The program for this concert includes a variety of pieces, all but one by American composers. Periods range from the late 18th century to the early 21st, with most pieces being from the 20th century. Composers include William Billings, Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Eric Whitacre, as well as a set of three pieces written by our accompanist, Cheryl Sharrock.
The Chamber singers are a small group from the Monadnock Chorus that performs in the smaller venues around the Monadnock Region. Recent performance venues include RiverMead in Peterborough and the Peterborough Women’s Club.
