About Us
Research, Innovation, Fiscal Prudence
While our slower, more rhythmic pace of life is in some ways bucolic,
Plowshare Farm co-workers are active researchers of innovations
in the field of social services. Critical thought and attention
to the specific needs of our community members direct the planning
of our community life. Informed organizational creativity and financial
prudence ensure stability.
Plowshare Farm carries both licensing and certification from the
State of New Hampshire. It is one of many social-therapeutic Anthroposohically-based
communities established in North America and throughout the world,
and is proud to be a charter member of the North American Council
for Anthroposophic Curative Education and Social Therapy.
Life at Plowshare Farm is full of carefully chosen activities
ranging from the educational, therapeutic, and vocational to the
recreational and cultural. It is a meaningful therapeutic alternative
to both public and private institutions as well as traditional
group homes.
